Here is a fine example of Mortise and Tenon joinery. The oak leg (left) has the mortise, and the apron (right) has the tenon. They join to create a very strong connection.

Here you see quarter-sawn oak grain matching across cabinet doors.
Decorative box, of Madrone burl veneer. Four-way match of figure gives an interesting top, framed in African Blackwood edging.
